 No two Disciples Crosses are identical due to the technique of hand bending the nails and wrapping the wire.
Each Disciples Cross is carefully crafted from real horseshoe nails and brilliantly colored wire. They are each placed on adjustable, simulated leather cord, so that every cross is a perfect fit for everyone.  Timmy's Tabernacle of Crosses is a joint operation, in which Louis Strickland, and I (Abby Hert), work as producers for Disciple's Cross™ handcrafting one of a kind cross necklaces in a variety of colors.
The idea came about after a tragedy in our lives brought us to God, and God brought us to the cross. Timothy Jason Hanners, the father of my children passed away on September 3, 2008....although it has rained a terrible amount of heartache upon us, I believe he has also chose to work through us, spreading the word of God with hand made crosses. Timmy was always crafting crosses out of whatever materials he could get his hands on, be it sock threads, or toilet paper. He enjoyed making the crosses, it helped to ease and distract his mind, and produced beautiful one of a kind results...each time. We would like to reproduce Timmy's spirit with our own crosses, and with the help of Disciple's Cross™, we have been able to start our journey to do just that. That is why we have proudly dedicated our business to the two people who inspired us.... Choose your color (1 cross at a time) When you are finished with your order, click on the "view cart" button to make sure your order is correct. After you proceed to checkout, there is an option for 'special instructions to the seller', if you are wanting a multi-colored cross (up to three colors) please choose the patriotic option, and specify your colors. If you are using a money order, or plan on picking your cross up directly from us, please send all order information to our e-mail by filling out the Submit form below. ***To make orders as fast as possible, please include in your e-mail: color of cross(es) desired, number of cross(es) desired, and if you would like a combination of colors (up to three) please specify which way,( i.e. red for the top, white for the arms and blue for the bottom, as a patriotic example).
